Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email address— only if you sign in, used solely to send a one-time passcode (OTP) and identify your account. We don't use it for marketing.
• An anonymous cookie ID — set automatically so you can play and track progress before signing in, and so a signed-out session can be linked to your account if you later sign in.
• Gameplay and attempt data — the sets you play, answers, scores, timing, streaks, mastery, and readiness stats, so your progress and readiness score are accurate.
• Analytics — aggregate usage data via Google Analytics 4 (page views, general interaction events) to understand how the trainer is used and to improve it.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties for advertising. Gameplay data is used only to power your own stats, streaks, and readiness score inside the app.

Cookies

• An authentication cookie, set once you sign in, to keep you signed in between visits.
• An anonymous ID cookie, set on first visit, to track progress before or without signing in.
• Google Analytics cookies, used for aggregate usage analytics.

Data retention

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active, so your history and readiness score stay accurate. If you stop using The Gauntlet, data is retained until you request deletion.

Request deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated data, email hello@codeandcraft.ai from the address on your account. We'll confirm once it's done.
